Contraindications – Please Read Before Registering

While psychedelic breathwork is safe for most people, it is a powerful somatic practice that affects the nervous system, heart rate, and emotional processing. For your safety, this practice is not recommended if you have or have experienced any of the following:

• Cardiovascular issues (including high blood pressure that is uncontrolled, heart disease, history of heart attack, or stroke)
• Severe or chronic asthma (unless you bring your inhaler and have prior approval)
• Epilepsy or seizure disorders
• Detached retina or glaucoma
• Recent surgery or physical injury that may be impacted by intense breathing or body movement
• Severe psychiatric conditions (such as untreated bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or psychosis)
• Hospitalization for mental health in the past 3 years (please reach out for a case-by-case conversation)
• Use of medications that alter brain chemistry (such as antipsychotics or mood stabilizers—please consult with your prescribing doctor)
• Pregnancy (due to the intensity of the breath pattern and emotional release)
