Whether you intend to patrol this season, or you just like alliteration, join us on Sunday 7th December for Sisters in the Surf and Patrol Proficiencies 🏄♀️🤘⛑️
🏄♀️ This year we celebrate 5 years of Sisters in the Surf!! 🙌 So we are inviting all Members to the club for a BBQ following Nippers training and before Patrols lock in for their proficiencies 🙇🏻♀️
⏰ 11.30am onwards
📆 Sunday 7th December
🌽🌭 All Member Club BBQ followed by Proficiencies from 1pm.
🌊 Weather permitting, we will have the Surf Boat out for Members wishing to try their hand at rowing!! 🚣♂️
🏄♀️ Sisters in the Surf is an initiative that celebrates women and girls in Surf Life Saving. But did you know this important national day of recognition and celebration was started by our very own Boat Harbour Beach SLSC? And was the initiative of our very own Abbey Fairbrother?
Winner of both the Tasmanian and the National Award for Innovation at the 2021 Surf Life Saving Tasmania and Surf Life Saving Australia Awards of Excellence, the event is a mark of great pride for BHBSLSC.
