On Sunday August 31st it is my intention to host the perfect open mic night at the Magic Dragon, Wrexham.
What does the perfect open mic night entail? There are a number of key ingredients.
1) Someone will play and we will all wonder if they are professional because they are that good.
2) Someone who has never played in front of people before will get up to the mic and perform something.
3) At some point 3 or more people who didn’t arrive together will make some amazing music happen.
I’ll start the night off by singing a cover song, singing an original song and doing some spoken word piece so that everyone knows this is ok. Hopefully that’s the last we will hear from me as a range of different people take to the stage.
If you really want to play an instrument but are worried about singing, I will sing with you.
If you want to sing but need someone to accompany you I’ll find someone who can make this happen.
Really looking forward to this and as a surreal bonus, there is free cheese!
