Otto Aday is a captivating indie folk songwriter & producer hailing from the Rhondda Valleys in South Wales & now based in Dublin, Ireland. Whose sound blends bold anthemic production with deeply personal lyrics.
In a musical landscape that often feels over-saturated, Otto Aday stands out as an artist with effortlessly chic style who is not afraid to take risks, explore new territories, and create music that feels both timeless and contemporary. With his distinctive voice and unflinching honesty, Otto crafts songs that feel both grand and intimate. Whether navigating love, loss, or self-discovery, his lyrics are poetic yet grounded, weaving personal experiences into universally relatable stories. Otto Aday’s production is cinematic in scale, building soundscapes as vast and expansive as the emotions in his lyrics.
His talent has taken him from Nashville, TN all the way to Abbey Road Studios, London, along the way playing SXSW 2024 & winning best music video at the BAFTA-Accredited film festival FOCUS Wales in Wrexham the same year. Supporting and sharing the stage with industry icons like Sir Tom Jones, James Bay, The Kooks, Billie Marten and Championed by Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) - the producer of his Debut 'Persona', he is one to keep an eye on.
