Formed in late 2016 by vocalist/guitarist Rob Garry as a solo studio-based project, THE ARTUROS (named in honor of the late Arturo Vega, the genius behind the iconic Ramones Presidential Seal logo) became an outlet for all the punk rock riffs that never found a home in any of his previous musical endeavors.
"The Arturos EP" was released in 2018 and received overwhelming positive feedback and repeated airplay on community radio station 4ZZZ. This success demanded that The Arturos become a live entity. Since then, they have shared the stage with great bands such as The Supersuckers (USA), The Creepshow (CAN), XSLF (IRE), Uproar (UK), CJ Ramone (USA) and Teenage Bottlerocket (USA).
The Arturos are Rob Garry on guitar and vocals, Adam Merker on bass and vocals, and Josh Jansen on drums.
THE OWEN GUNS are an old school hardcore punk band based in NSW with members split between Sydney and the South Coast.
Fronted by the charismatic and in your face Sean the Bastard, they are unlike the current crop of punk bands, there are no fake American accents or the fear of offending people. They don't take themselves or anyone else too seriously and aren’t afraid to call things how they see them. The boys are hard at it supporting their latest masterpiece "Songs About Fucking Idiots", which just happened to debut at #3 on the 100% Independent Album Charts!
THE GROUNDS is a motley collection, that should know better, reveling in loud, loose rock and roll with more than a smattering of punk rock sensibility. With members from such eclectic outfits as Rubix Cuba, Moth, Muzzy Pep, The Great Dividing Range, Tax Sea Cabs, Grannyfist and Dog, this is a band whose sound will grab you by the throat from the first chord, melt your face, shake you around a bit, and shout you a schooner afterwards.
