Our One Day Intro program offers a gentle, supportive introduction to Horse Aid’s equine-assisted healing programs.
This day is about connection, calm, and curiosity — learning practical horsemanship skills while working on the ground with our beautiful Thoroughbred ex-racehorses. Through this experience, many participants begin to feel the unique and powerful healing that comes from working with horses in a safe, non-judgemental environment.
Designed specifically for serving and ex-serving defence personnel and first responders living with post-traumatic stress injuries related to service, this program is a low-key stepping stone into our Five Day Residential Program — or simply a chance to see whether Horse Aid feels like the right fit for you.
