This year, we are focusing on the fundamental right of every individual to optimal health and the informed choices—the "right path"—that lead us there, particularly in the context of HIV and AIDS.
The theme, "Take the right path: my health, my right," reflects the crucial importance of health literacy, access to unbiased information, and the ability of every person to exercise their rights to prevention, treatment, and non-discriminatory care. Together, we must ensure that the path to a healthier life is clear, accessible, and protected for people living with, or affected by, HIV.
This event is a call to action to empower individuals to advocate for their health rights and to accelerate initiatives that remove barriers and guarantee universal access to the essential services needed to bring us closer to an AIDS-free generation.
