Join us for a packed out 4-day event. We'll be showing 118 curated and selected independent films. Short Films, Feature Films, Documentaries, Animation, Student, Midlands Made and Music Videos. We have previews of films yet to be released in cinemas, UK/European premieres and Alien returning to the big screen!
Each evening there will be socials and networking to discuss the films you've watched that day, co-hosted by the BFI and with live film-themed open mic entertainment.
For those interested in the film industry or already working in it, we have workshops and talks around breaking into the industry, casting, pitching, sales & distribution. Hear from 10 filmmakers after their screenings with exclusive Q&As.
Have an idea yourself? In conjunction with the Worcestershire Film Office, there's a chance to win £1,500 to fund a short film!
All of this, culminating in an awards ceremony where 20 winners will go home with bespoke handmade trophies after being judged by a panel of their peers, like Martin Freeman and Ralph Ineson.
This is Worcester Film Festival's first year with national accreditation, becoming the only festival in the West Midlands to be BIFA Qualifying and we plan to be very noisy in celebrating this with you!
