Join our community gathering to celebrate Lughnasadh, sometime known as Lammas
RSVP: Due to the popularity of the event, it is essential that you email
cmVjZXB0aW9uIHwgdGhlZm9sZCAhIG9yZyAhIHVr if you are attending so that we can plan accordingly.
We’ll talk about what the festival meant to ancient peoples and how we can connect with the energy of the seasons in our own lives today, along with some inner journeying to experience the sacredness of this time of year
The evening starts at 6:30pm. We’ll offer a simple meal of rice and vegan stew (with fresh veggies grown right here on the farm!) You are welcome to bring something to share but it’s not required. We’ll then talk about the festival and be lead on a journey of the imagination, following up with songs and merriment.
There is no cost but we gratefully accept donations from those who can afford it.
Part or all of the gathering may be held at our fire circle down in Holywell, in amongst the orchard trees
PLEASE BRING:
- A bowl/plate and cutlery plus a mug (we have some but not enough for everyone)
- Something to eat for sharing
- Clothing for outdoors if weather looks amenable
Community is at the heart of The Fold and we would love to share this special festival with you.
