Annual Gathering at ArtsWorcester

At our Annual Gathering on September 10, we will honor the 43rd recipient of the ArtsWorcester Award, Tracy Kraus, in acknowledgement of her exceptional contributions to the arts and culture in the City of Worcester. A performance by the Worcester Chamber Music Society will celebrate Tracy and her contributions to Worcester.

Following the award presentation, we will reunite in the galleries to celebrate the public reception of Material Needs 2025. Christine Brown, Alana Garrigues, Ashley MacLure, Dana Mendes, Dominic Quagliozzi, Susan Slepetz, and Neil Wilkins received support from an anonymous donor to produce new work in Worcester County, which goes on view to the public that evening.

The Annual Gathering will begin at 5:00 PM in the seventh floor board room of the Printers Building. The reception for Material Needs 2025 will begin promptly at 6:00 PM in the ArtsWorcester galleries (1st floor), and will continue until 8:00 PM. Light refreshments and a cash bar will be available.

Elevators are available up to and down from the seventh floor. If you or anyone in your party requires aisle seating, for use of a mobility device or otherwise, please let us know by messaging aW5mbyB8IGFydHN3b3JjZXN0ZXIgISBvcmc= at least 48 hours before the event. We will ensure you have accessible, reserved seating available when you arrive.

Your RSVP to this form indicates you will be attending the ArtsWorcester award ceremony beginning at 5:00pm; if you plan to only attend the Material Needs Grant reception beginning at 6:00pm, you need not RSVP.

Parking is available at the Worcester Public Library (McGrath) Lot, Federal Plaza Garage, Worcester Common Garage, and Pearl-Elm Garage. Metered street parking is also available. On weekends, and on weekdays after 5:00 PM, visitors may park in the Printers Building parking lot free of charge. Please do not park in the lot across the street from the Printers Building; you will be immediately towed.
