Singing Hunters Concert

They're coming back! Join us for a special quartet concert with the Singing Hunters. Concert is free, but a free will offering will be accepted and go toward benefiting St. Dysmas, a church behind the walls of the SD Stare Penitentiary System.

Brief History of the Singing Hunters Quartet

​The Singing Hunters Quartet came into existence because of a shared passion for pheasant hunting, ministry, and singing! In 2006 members of the group were buying some supplies in the grocery store in Woonsocket, SD on their annual hunting trip to the area. As they socialized with the folks working at the store they were asked what they all did for a living. Out of that conversation was born an impromptu quartet song (or two!). The following year some impromptu singing was done in a couple different settings (again at the grocery) and the guys were asked to come back the next year. The group has continued to share talents on an annual basis.

​Special thanks goes to Marlo Wieman for getting the group together to hunt out at The Roost which eventually led to the group being formed. Not unusual for a few good old gospel tunes to be heard out in the cleaning shed while the pheasant cleaning is happening!
