Each year we like to recognize a group of people with a gift of appreciation. In the past 5 yrs we have given gifts of appreciation to Veterans, Police Officers, Correctional Officers, Nurses and medical staff and last year was Postal workers.
This year we are giving gifts of appreciation to Tattoo Artists.
I have met a lot of tattoo artists throughout the past 10 yrs and they help people heal.
You may want a portrait of a fur baby that you lost. Portrait of a child, parent or favorite artist. Those are forever memories. People get poems or quotes that have a lot of meaning to them, signatures or writing of a loved one. People get their favorite animal, represent a cause and things that may make us laugh. People show pieces of who they are through tattoos.
I know that I appreciate the tattoo artists on Boobifications team.
They have both been schooled in scar coverage and they help the ladies mentally heal by covering their scars with beautiful art. My scars were a daily reminder of a really shitty journey and it's not something that I wanted to look at daily. When I got my first breast covered and seen it for the first time, I told the man that I had to do something to help others get this blessing. That's how much a tattoo impacted my life I started an organization!!!
