OPEN ROLES

PLAY: NIGHTSWIMMING
Writer/Director: Stephen Norton
Description: In a small apartment where nights stretch too long, Alex avoids opportunity while leaning on humor, alcohol, and distraction to numb a growing sense of failure. Over a series of late-night conversations, tensions rise, truths surface, and the fragile bond between them is tested. Nightswimming is a darkly comic portrait of friendship, avoidance, neurodivergence, and the slow, imperfect work of choosing to change.

AVAILABLE ROLES:
Alex - Owner of the “hangout room”, where all the friends gather. Intelligent, guarded, spiraling; uses humor and alcohol to deflect pain.
Casey - Alex’s best friend. Grounded, observant, patient, but increasingly frustrated.
Jordan - Friend to Alex & Casey. Warm, direct, emotionally intuitive.

PLAY: COUPLE'S THERAPY
Writer/Director: Kayla Menard
Description: The play is about a married couple, Mariam and Walter, and their attempt at couple’s therapy in order to fix the problems between them. They unknowingly enter the wrong office for their session.

PLAY: DANNY AND STANLEY
Writer/Director: Chad Moores
Description: A family meeting to remember Dad goes in some unexpected directions

AVAILABLE ROLES:
Danny (Age 20-30): A passionate and somewhat prideful individual, Danny is deeply invested in his culinary creations, which serve as an outlet for his self-expression. Sensitive and quick to hold a grudge, He harbors a years-long resentment against his brother, Stanley, for exposing the secret ingredient in his prized meatball recipe. Despite his stubbornness, Danny has a warm side, often masked by his desire for validation and respect from his family.
Sarah (Age 20-25): The pragmatic and occasionally frazzled sister, Sarah is the glue trying to hold the family together amidst their squabbles. She’s a problem-solver who approaches issues with patience and logic, though her efforts are often overshadowed by the chaos around her. Sarah’s maternal tendencies and sharp wit make her both a voice of reason and a source of comedic relief during tense moments.
Margaret (Age 50+): The boisterous and slightly eccentric matriarch, Margaret copes with her husband’s passing by indulging in a parade of alcoholic beverages, each more extravagant than the last. Her uninhibited remarks and colorful personality bring levity to the family’s mourning, though her carefree approach sometimes exacerbates the siblings’ conflicts. Beneath her flamboyant exterior lies a mother deeply invested in her family’s happiness and unity.
