Hailing from Toowoomba, DuGtRiO! is a powerhouse guitar-bass-drums trio known for their fearless, high-energy approach to jazz rock and fusion. Comprised of seasoned musicians who are familiar faces in both the improvised music and rock scenes, the group blends untethered musicianship with raw creative fire.
From reimagined classics to electrifying original compositions, DuGtRiO1 delivers dynamic performances steeped in jazz vocabulary, blues grit, and the driving force of rock. Their sound is tight, passionate, and unapologetically authentic—an immersive experience for the ears and soul alike.
For this special CYKAS event, the trio will be joined by none other than The Jazz Warrior, Kyle Watson, acclaimed jazz keyboardist and sonic adventurer. With his boundless musical vocabulary, expressive depth, and energy, Kyle adds a whole new dimension to the ensemble’s sound and is an addition not to be missed.
