Birlinn Ltd and Ad Gefrin are delighted to host the launch of Max Adams and Colm O’Brien’s groundbreaking new book, Northumbria, AD 367–867: Earth-Hall, Ring-Gift and Heaven’s Field.

Step back into the world of early medieval Northumbria as we welcome the authors to share their work in the awe-inspiring setting of the Great Hall of King Edwin, lovingly reconstructed here at Ad Gefrin. This promises to be a truly memorable evening where history, storytelling, and place come together.
