Critical Skills - Striking for the Street

This workshop goes beyond punching and kicking—it’s about learning how to strike with purpose, adaptability, and control under pressure.

In this 3-hour hands-on session, you’ll be introduced to the striking concepts that support the Civilian Tactical (CTac) approach to self-protection. We’ll break down the real-world use of the palm, forearm, elbow, shoulder, head, and basic kicking methods. Then we’ll bring it to life with pad drills that emphasize ballistic movement, dynamic range shifts, and target adaptation.

What You’ll Learn:
- CTac striking mechanics for real-world self-defense

- Two-hand and single-hand striking combinations

- How to retain a weapon system while striking

- Striking strategies against multiple attackers (360° of Destruction)

- Disrupting entries and re-engaging on exit

- Adapting strikes for ground encounters and transitional positions

Whether you're new to striking or looking to evolve your skillset, this session will give you tools that translate directly to self-protection—on your feet, in close, or on the ground.
