ABOUT SHANNON:

Dr. Shannon Tovey is a writer, educator, and cultural storytelling expert! She helps others uncover and share their stories. As a scholar, she is recognized internationally for her expertise in storytelling and self-discovery. Beyond academia, she is a prominent voice in Atlanta’s music scene, contributing to publications such as Creative Loafing and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. What began as a personal blog celebrating local musicians and the deeper meaning behind their work has evolved into a broader mission: empowering individuals to connect with, craft, and express their authentic identities through the art of storytelling.
