Welcome to the 2nd annual Minocqua Clash king/king and queen/queen grass volleyball tournament!
Description of format
If you are unfamiliar with this format, it is men's quads and women's quads.
These are two separate tournaments, one is men's and one is women's.
Each team (pair) consists of 2 partners. Each team of 2 will combine with another team of 2 for each match, to make a team of 4.
The tournament will be divided into pools of 4 pairs and each pair will play an equal number of games with every pair in their pool.
The pair that finishes the pool with the most wins is the winner of the pool.
After each round of pool the top 2 teams will advance to the next round, until there are just 4 teams remaining.
Those 4 teams will play a final pool for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

There will be one division to start the tournament. The tournament will then be split into upper and lower after the first round of pool.

Scoring
Each match will be 2 games to 21 with a cap of 21 (games may be played to 15 if tournament is running behind).
If multiple teams finish a pool with the same number of wins, the team with the best point differential will take the higher seed in the pool.

Payment can be made in cash the day of the tournament.
$50 per team.
Payment must be made as a team.
We are hoping to have at least 16 men's pairs and 12 women's pairs.
Payout
90% payout. 10% to rent the field.
Amount of money winning teams will receive will depend on the number of teams that sign up.
In upper, 1st, 2nd and 3rd will win money.
In lower, 1st place will win money
