A funny and heart-warming prospective of the poignant world of Ethel and Norman Thayer, a charming elderly couple who return to their beloved summer home on Golden Pond.

When their estranged daughter, Chelsea, arrives with her new fiancé and his teenage son, old wounds resurface, forcing the family to grapple with unresolved feelings and generational divides.
