WDSA Christmas Talk & Social: Retrofit and Sustainable Design

Join the Wolverhampton & District Society of Architects (WDSA) and WLVArchitecture for an evening of inspiration, conversation, and festive cheer at their annual Christmas Talk & Social.

This year’s speaker is John Christophers, architect of the acclaimed Zero Carbon House in Balsall Heath, one of the UK’s pioneering examples of deep retrofit and sustainable living. John will reflect on his personal journey transforming a 19th-century house into a carbon-neutral home, exploring the practicalities, challenges, and lessons learned along the way.

Following the talk, stay for an informal social with mulled wine, mince pies, and pizza, a chance to catch up with colleagues, share ideas, and celebrate the end of the year in good company.
