Development Day, Mayfield, Wolsingham, Co Durham - Saturday,13th September

Gerard te Lintelo, Chair of the North East Beef Shorthorn Enthusiasts Club, is set to host a welcoming and informative Members’ Day at his Mayfield Farm in Wolsingham, County Durham. With a background as a veterinary surgeon, Gerard brings a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to the event. His farm is renowned for its forage-based system, achieving impressive growth rates and early calving ages, which he attributes to productive grass and clover grazing. Attendees can look forward to engaging technical workshops covering topics such as genetic improvement and herd health management.

This is a free of charge event which will include refreshments and a light lunch for members and supporters of the breed. Bookings must be made by Friday, 5th September as numbers are required for catering purposes.
