Not that he hasn’t been busy over those years, recording two francophone albums, a Christmas record, and some Jimmy Buffett co-writes, among other things. But the time has come for an honest to greatness release from this prolific 19 times ECMA winner! Join Lennie and his terrific band for a performance showcasing these long overdue new offerings! A member of the Order of Canada, Lennie Gallant is a National Treasure. He has released sixteen albums of original songs which have won him a host of awards and nominations from the JUNOs, Les Prix Éloizes, and the East Coast Music Awards. His songs have been described as “true slices of life delivered with a poet’s flair and a rugged emotional sensibility”
He has had a song inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, and shared stages with such artists as Lucinda Williams, Patti Griffin and Jimmy Buffet, with whom he co-wrote and sang 2 songs that were included on Buffet's posthumous release.
