Coyotes, Wolves, and Coexistence Program

The Wolfeboro Garden Club will host conservation biologist Chris Schadler on Tuesday, January 13 at 1:00 p.m. at All Saints Church in Wolfeboro. The program is open to the public.

Schadler will discuss the eastern coyote, a uniquely Northeastern animal shaped by both western coyote ancestry and eastern wolf DNA. Her talk will explore coyote ecology, behavior, and what coexistence with wildlife means in our region. The program will also touch on the possible return of the eastern wolf and how people, coyotes, and wolves may share the landscape.

Refreshments will be served following the meeting, offering time for conversation and connection.

Community members interested in learning more about the Wolfeboro Garden Club are encouraged to attend.
