About the event

A talk on the history of Chobham Common

Learn about Chobham Common past and present during a free event that is part of this year's Chobham Music & Arts Festival. The Preservation Committee's secretary, Rob Searle, is giving an illustrated talk about our magnificent heathland, how it originated and developed and its value today to both wildlife and people.
Rob is the Surrey Archaeological Society surveyor for Chobham Common and known for the history and nature walks he leads on the heathland.
