John Englezos is a spoken word poet, Tedx speaker coach and Melbourneโs 2015 Poetry Slam Champion. John was on the first Australian team represented at the National Poetry Slam in Denver, Colorado in 2017.
Running reflective and creative workshops in schools, local councils and mental health support groups, John advocates for creativity to nurture oneโs own wellbeing, and to foster deeper community connection. His work has been described as โPixar in poetryโ with his creative work and book If The World Were Upside Down centering around notions of hope, identity and wonder.
John is also an uncle to six amazing kids, and an honorary brother to many.
