Singin' in the Rain JR

Murray High School is very excited to present our biannual musical in 2025. Students from year 7 – 12 will perform in the classic Singin’ in the Rain JR in Term 3 Week 1 this year.

Performances will be held at The Cube Wodonga on the 23rd to 25th July 2025.

Singin' in the Rain JR. is a lively adaptation of the beloved movie musical by Broadway legends Betty Comden and Adolph Green. Packed with hilarious moments, snappy dialogue, and classic Hollywood tunes, it's a guaranteed crowd-pleaser for all ages.

Set in the golden age of silent films, the story follows screen stars Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont. On-screen they’re a dream couple, but off-screen it’s a different story—especially when Lina’s voice threatens her career in the new world of “talking pictures,” and a young actress steps in to save the show.
