CREATE YOUR OWN STUNNING STAINED GLASS MIRROR WORKSHOP
Saturday 25 October 9.45 - 1.00 pm or 2.30 pm – 5.45 pm
£80 including refreshments, materials, use of equipment on the day, tutoring & certificate of completion.
This half-day group workshop with our guest tutor, Katherine from Number8Glass, is suitable for all skill levels.
This experience is perfect for participants who have not created stained glass pieces before, but love stained glass and traditional crafts.
In this workshop, you will
- select the glass for your mirror from a wide range of colours (the glass is pre cut so you don't have to learn to cut glass)
- build the panel using traditional leading techniques
- solder the lead joints
- polish the panel
The finished mirror is approximately 25 x 30 cm.
Strictly limited to 4 students, you will have all the individual tuition you need to learn this new skill and create a panel you are really proud of.
All materials are provided.
This STAINED GLASS MIRROR WORKSHOP will be held in the peaceful setting of our Blended Monkey studios on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border.
Numbers are limited to ensure you get plenty of 1-2-1 tuition.
This relaxing workshop is suitable for 16+.
