Join us the day after Thanksgiving for a special in-store author signing with Jan, the creator behind the Believe novel and the award-winning Ghost & A Cop series!
Jan’s debut novel, Believe, launched in 2013, a romantic fiction/time-travel adventure set in the Victorian era. Praised by the San Francisco Book Review for its blend of romance, mystery, and the danger of a sociopathic stalker, Believe stands out as a unique spin on the time-travel romance genre.
In 2014 Jan introduced the world to Brett O’Shea and his unforgettable ghostly partner, Al, in York Street, a chaotic, suspense-filled hunt for a serial killer with supernatural skill. York Street became a 2016 Eric Hoffer Finalist.
The series continued with:
🔸 Red Sunset Drive — Winner of both the Editor’s Choice Award and Rising Star Award, as Brett and Al chase down vampires.
🔸 Tempest Court — Released in 2020, where O’Shea and his ghostly ally face off against a mummy.
🔸 Hazzard Avenue — The latest installment, where a Voodoo priestess unleashes dark magic and Brett’s psychic abilities awaken. This book also serves as the basis for the upcoming movie Voodun, releasing in 2024.
