This 10-week process-oriented class offers new and seasoned actors the opportunity to get a taste of the brilliant work of Sanford Meisner - and why it is so relevant to your Acting & your Life.
It will highlight necessary basics of Sandy's work while incorporating & integrating JJ's techniques and emotional work (based on the work of the late NYC Master Teacher Jim Bonney and the essences of Core Energetics™).
Each week will find you experiencing various activities and exercises designed to get you IN the MOMENT, ACTIVE LISTENING in ways you likely have not before, (organic) Emotional Accessibility, exploration of imagination work, working OFF your partner, not your ideas, and without the focus on you.
Emotional exploration & access needs to be AUTHENTIC, not manufactured.

Jen's approach to the emotional work is truly unique to what one may generally find elsewhere, and coupled with the Self & Spirit TOOLS for emotional life & visualization, you will find yourself and your acting 'changed for the better' at the end of the 10 weeks.
