BMRTPA/TURF Group Run - Acorn Hammock Trail

This park is within the Marshall Hampton Reserve in Polk County. It's on the NE corner of Lake Hancock and across the lake of Circle B Bar Reserve. The trail offers a variety of environments including oak hammock areas, mesic flatwoods, wetlands, and a 60-acre pond. It's mostly shaded and trail is a mixture of soil, grass, and sand. This trail is adjacent to the Panther Point Trail that straddles much of Lake Hancock after crossing a large cow pasture.

There's plenty of grass parking and maybe a portable toilet at the trailhead. 100% of this trail is runnable but we'll make a couple stops to enjoy the view and catch our breathe.
