WEST ORANGE TRAIL

The ride begins at Killarney Station. Killarney Station is at 17914 FL-438, Winter Garden, FL 34787. From there you can bike 13.7 miles east (passing two nice trail facilities, Winter Garden Station and Chapin Station) to where the trail splits. (The secondary portion goes straight ahead for 0.9 miles to Clarcona Horseman's Park - restrooms & tables.)

To continue on the main portion, cross the street on your right with a stop light (overhead sign says Trail Crossing) and go for 4 miles to Forest and Sixth. Then bike 0.3 miles north on Forest , up and over US 441 on a bridge (Wendy's, McDonald's, & Taco Bell on US 441) and another 0.2 miles north to where the trail continues at Apopka Station, a trail facility with restrooms. Then 2.3 miles more (some curves & hills). The trail ends at Welch Rd. but if you cross Welch Rd. there is a McDonald's and, next to it, Bubbalou's BBQ where you can eat inside or outside. Then bike back approximately 20 miles to Killarney Station. Your West Orange Trail round trip distance should be about 40-42 miles, depending on whether you went to the Clarcona Horseman's Park and/or Bubbalou's.
