The American Legion, Post 63, is honored to contribute to a community initiative dedicated to preserving the cleanliness of our neighborhoods while offering JROTC participants the opportunity to earn community service hours.
As part of this commitment, Post 63 invites your JROTC program to participate in the Adopt-A-Highway clean-up event on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The event will focus on a designated two-mile section of West Colonial Drive.
All necessary supplies will be provided. Participants will be organized into teams of two or four, each supervised by at least one adult, and all safety protocols will be strictly observed.
Colleges and employers value candidates who demonstrate a well-rounded character and engage in activities beyond academics. Meaningful community involvement enhances scholarship and job applications, reflecting dedication to service and personal development.
