Directors: Daphne Escalante & Jack Schultz
Daphne is a multidisciplinary artist with a BA in Acting from Columbia College Chicago. After graduating, she continued her training at Green Shirt Studio, where she deepened her work in the Meisner technique and is currently a Level Four student studying under Jack Schultz. In 2025, she was accepted into the MFA Screenwriting program at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and has since made Winston-Salem her home. Over the past year, she has directed a one-act play for Camel City Playhouse and appeared on stage in What They Have with The Little Theatre of Winston-Salem. Before relocating to North Carolina, Daphne was actively involved in theater communities across Indiana. She continues to grow as an actor, writer, producer, and now Meisner instructor.
Jack Schultz has been the proud owner of Green Shirt Studio since 2019, where he's logged thousands of hours in the classroom guiding students of all experience levels through Levels 1-5 of
Green Shirt's Meisner Acting Program. His passion for training actors is matched only by his love for building community-something he took to the next level in 2023 when he co-founded Chicago Actor Staffing with his wife and creative partner, Alison Schaufler. Before Green Shirt, Jack served as Artistic Director of The Agency, where his acclaimed solo show I'm Falling In Love All The Time played to sold-out crowds in Chicago's off-loop theatre scene. The show-an honest, humorous, and deeply human look at opioid addiction told through the lens of caffeine and romance-went on to tour colleges across the country, sparking meaningful
conversations around substance use and recovery. Jack's other stage credits with The Agency include I Wish To Apologize to the People of Illinois, The Spirit of '76, and Hellcab (2017 & 2018). He's a graduate of the iO Training Center, a 200-hour certified RYT yoga instructor, and completed the True Acting Diploma Course with Master Meisner Teacher Larry Silverberg. Jack also appeared on The Carbonaro Effect (Season 7, Episode 2), where he was hilariously convinced that a Viking skeleton was attacking him at a construction site near O'Hare.
