Car Seat Check Event

Research shows that 3 out of 4 car seats are not installed correctly. Come to the next car seat check to receive assistance from a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician at Winston-Salem Fire Station 8.

When coming to the free car seat check, please bring:
• The vehicle your child will be riding in
• Your child safety seat
• Your child safety seat manual
• Your car owner’s manual
• Your child (if possible)
• Your child’s current height and weight (if possible)
• It takes approximately 30 minutes to get a car seat checked.

This event is organized by Safe Kids Northwest Piedmont and possible, thanks to the collaboration of certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians who work in community organizations focused on the well-being of children.
