𝘏𝘖𝘓𝘐𝘋𝘈𝘠𝘚 𝘖𝘕 𝘐𝘊𝘌 BY DAVID SEDARIS

Part fiction and part memoir, 𝘏𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘐𝘤𝘦 explores what the holiday spirit really means. Originally published in 1997, this collection of essays and stories about Christmas is one of Sedaris' earliest works.


NCMA W-S BOOK CLUB

How well can we know other people? How well can we know ourselves? This season, NCMA W-S Book Club will explore the theme of questionable characters, delving into these questions through characters with shady pasts, dubious intentions, and murky values.

Book selections range from national bestsellers to experimental novels and the guided discussions cover an array of topics, from themes and imagery to plot structures and character development. Book discussions are led by NCMA Winston-Salem Director Bill Carpenter.
