Teen Art Studio

A welcoming makerspace where teens explore art mediums and make friends—guided by a teaching artist.

At Teen Art Studio (TAS), you have the freedom to pursue your own creative interests while developing techniques that enhance your art. At TAS, your unique artistic voice isn't just accepted—it's celebrated.

• Express yourself authentically in a judgment-free zone.
• Experiment with diverse art mediums—from painting and sculpture to stop motion and fashion.
• Connect with other teens—while taking your art to the next level.

Details
Ages: 13 to 18
Time: September through May on Second Saturdays, 10:30am – 1:30pm
No registration required! TAS is a drop-in program.
Cost: $5 materials fee—or free with annual AMP Student Membership ($25)
Includes: All materials and the guidance of the teaching artist, plus free admission for the day to the mural exhibit and Family Day activities.

Family Days
Kids under 13 can check out the Family Day programs that run concurrently with TAS, making it the perfect time for a complete family art experience. Learn more at americanmuralproject.org/family-days.
