🤠 Little Colorado River Horsemen’s Association of Arizona (LCRHA) is a non-profit, family-focused horse club dedicated to promoting horsemanship, safety, sportsmanship, and responsible riding while building confidence, pride, and community through a shared love of horses. Our 2026 gymkhana season is fast approaching, and we would love to have you ride with us! 🐎
🌵 What is a Gymkhana?
A gymkhana is a fun, family-friendly horse playday where riders compete in patterns like barrels, poles, and other creative courses. It is a great place to learn, practice, build skills, and enjoy some friendly competition.
🐴 All ages and levels are welcome, from beginners to seasoned riders. Bring your green horse or your seasoned partner and come have fun learning together.

⏰ Schedule:
9:00 AM Books open. Please arrive on time to sign up, warm up, and run time-only barrels ($3 per run).
10:00 AM Gymkhana. Three patterns ($5 per pattern + $5 arena fee for members / $10 arena fee for non-members), competing within your age group.
💰 Jackpot pattern — $5 entry, no age groups, 60% payout.
🏆 Awards at the end of each event. Winners in each age group receive their pattern entry fees back, and all riders get candy. 🍬
☀️ June through August start one hour earlier.
💵 Low-cost fun for the whole family:
Memberships — Individual $15, Couple $25, Family $40
🎉 End-of-Year Awards:
Ride in four or more gymkhanas to qualify for year-end prizes.
