Commander Party – Bracket 3 Showdown
"Teferi won’t be protecting you this time. In this Bracket 3 Commander Party, the stack is a little quieter, the lands are a little safer, and the Magic is a lot cleaner – just like in the good old days. So put away those tutors, leave the mass land destruction at home, and prepare for some fair and friendly mayhem."
Event Rules:
Deck Eligibility: Only decks ranked Bracket 3 or below (see Commander Brackets Beta).
Deck Lock: Once the event begins, your chosen deck is locked in. No swapping or edits mid-event unless specifically requested by a judge or organiser.
Banned List: We follow the official Commander Banned List – nothing more, nothing less.
Pods: Games will be played in pods of 3–4 players.
Rounds: There will be three rounds, each with a 90-minute limit.
Match Structure
If time is called: Finish the current turn, then play three additional turns.
If no winner is found: The game ends in a draw, with all remaining players receiving the lowest available point value.
Simultaneous elimination: If multiple players are knocked out within the same turn cycle, they each take the lowest available points.
Scoring System
🥇 Winner: 4 points
🥈 2nd place: 3 points
🥉 3rd place: 2 points
🎲 4th place: 1 point
(In the case of a draw, all surviving players receive the lowest available score.)
This event is all about the heart of Commander: interactive board states, political plays, and memorable stories – without the arms race of tutors and resource denial. Expect dramatic swings, nail-biting finishes, and plenty of table talk.
