🔷Boat parking: 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM
- Please have your $20/person cash ready as our volunteers park your boat. Tell the volunteers if you prefer your $20 per person to be a donation or you’d prefer to receive raffle tickets for this Veteran fund raising event. All our Veterans gave for us. This event raises money to help veterans. We thank you for your help via your donation or ticket purchase.
- If your boat has a VHF radio: Please announce lead boat name, number of boats in your group, if you are approaching from the East or West side of the event on VHF channel 69 then say “over.” Please listen for confirmation from SandBar Bash. Calling on the VHF radio helps ensure our boat raft building volunteers are ready for your group.
- No VHF on your boat? No probelm, simply come in slow from either side of the event, East or West, have your fenders and lines out. As you approach our volunteers, they will wave you in when they are ready to help another boat. If you do not see them waving you in, we ask you to please wait. Shut down your motor 40 feet or more away from our volunteers and we will park your boat for you.
- Sponsor boats - enter through the pool noodle marked “emergency egress lanes” either side of event center. Our volunteers will walk your boat to your pre-arranged reserved parking spot. Please have your sponsor dash card visible. If you did not receive your sponsor dash card, please send us a message.
- Please do not park in the two emergency egress lanes identified with floating pool noodles.
- Please mark your anchors. A floating life preserver attached to the anchor with a rope is one option.
- Please wear footwear. There will be many anchors in the water.
- When event space becomes full, our volunteers stop parking boats. We cannot predict when this will happen, but history tells us we will be full by about noon.

🔷Music: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- The band takes a thirty minute break near the middle. We will use this time to thank our veterans, sponsors, volunteers, and all of you for supporting this veteran fund raising event with your donations and raffle ticket purchase.
100% of donations and all raffle ticket sales minus payout go to Vets and Friends of Wisconsin. All the people in the bright volunteer shirts are unpaid.
Raffle drawing will be drawn on the stage, and winning number announced over the sound system near the end of the event. We will also post the winning ticket number to our main Facebook page as soon as we can. Winner has 48 hours to reach out to us in person or message after the end of the event at 5:00 PM. If we do not hear from anyone, we will add the payout as a donation.
