Yoke Cooking School: Curries & Stews

In this hands-on workshop, master cook Elaine Young will show you how to build a repertoire of nourishing plant-based meals using Australian grown grains, legumes & vegetables.

You will learn:
- The foundations of building the most delicious stews and curries and how to adapt them seasonally.
- How to perfectly cook organic Australian grains and legumes including millet, sorghum, quinoa, mung, chickpeas & more.
- Simple condiments and dosa/flatbreads to transform your everyday meals.

About the Facilitator
Elaine is the founder of Yoke and she loves combining organic Australian plant-based ingredients with her travels through India and the Middle East to create nourishing and delicious whole-food meals. She is passionate about cooking from a place of connection. Where our food is sourced, how we prepare it and how we consume and share it impacts how we feel and those around us. You can find Elaine at the Chai Café at Northey Street Markets every Sunday.
