Logging in the Park

Come see the logging operation up close and learn what small scale forestry looks like in the Windsor Town Forest. Join the County Forester and loggers from Long View Forest on this public walk through.

The logging this winter will highlight the best forestry practices in Vermont. It will create small clearings that increase the diversity of tree ages and species, as well as improve the forest’s health and resilience.
