CELEBRATING MURPHY JAMES at SCRUFFY SOUL OPEN MIC

The Scruffy Soul Open Mic will be hosting a night of musicians, poets and creatives in honour of of Murphy James (Stu Murphy).

Murphy was a huge personality on and off stage as a singer songwriter and advocate for the homeless alongside The Windsor Homeless Project.

He also performed alongside many local and touring musicians in Windsor at many venues, including Scruffy Soul, which Mark Andrews, the church’s minister at the time, created.

This event is for all who wish to pay tribute to Murphy after his untimely death on the 28th July this year.

We invite you to rise to the occasion and bring your own evening picnic of snacks and drinks in the usual spirit of The Scruffy Soul Open Mic.

I am certain that Murphy (Stu to his closest friends and family) would be humbled to see so many people honouring him if he were still with us. 💕
