Start your morning right with a refreshing hike in the beautiful Daan Viljoen Game Park! 🌿 Perfect for those seeking a light challenge with some uphill sections that will leave you feeling accomplished! 😅💪
📅 Date: Saturday, 15 November 2025
⏰ Time: 7 AM (meet at reception)
⏳ Duration & Distance: Approximately 9 km (4–5 hours, depending on fitness level of group). Moderate fitness required – fit children are welcome (roughly 8+).
📍 Location: Daan Viljoen Park Reception, Windhoek, Namibia
🌍 Directions: 24 km west of Windhoek, accessible via a tarred road
PLEASE NOTE: We’ll be walking the 4x4 trail
💵 Fees (includes coffee & snack break; juice for kids):
• N$300 (Namibians/Residents – children N$250)
• N$350 (SADC – children N$300)
• N$400 (Foreigners – children N$350)
What to bring:
• Water & your cup for the coffee break
• Extra snacks (for when you get hangry 😋)
• Hat, sunscreen & sturdy walking shoes
• Hiking stick (if needed for extra balance)
🦒 There's a good chance of spotting wildlife like giraffes, antelope, and baboons along the way!
