“Birdscaping Your Backyard” presented by Dr. Steven Hale
Thursday, February 19th 6:30pm, Windham Nesmith Library
Hosted by the Windham Nesmith Library and the Windham Garden Club, this engaging program invites you to discover how to attract a greater variety of birds to your backyard. Dr. Steven Hale will cover different types of feeders, bird foods, and explain why both living and dead natural cover are essential for birds. Learn how to diversify your landscape with food, shelter, and water to make your yard the preferred spot for feathered visitors.
Dr. Steve Hale, owner of Open World Explorers, holds advanced degrees in marine biology, evolutionary biology, and ecology. Having lived in New Hampshire for over 20 years, he has explored much of the state. As a passionate hiker, birder, and seasoned naturalist, Dr. Hale enjoys sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with others.
The Windham Garden Club, in collaboration with the Windham Nesmith Library, welcomes everyone to join our meeting and this presentation. The club’s February meeting and refreshments will begin at 6:00 PM, followed by Dr. Hale’s talk at 6:30 PM. We hope to see you there!
