You're invited to the Day of Caring After Party Celebration at West Oaks Farm Market on September 19, 2025, from noon til 5pm.
Day of Caring is United Way Northern Shenandoah Valley’s flagship community event, and one of the most well-known and visible moments for volunteerism and corporate partnership in our region. Each year, Day of Caring volunteers complete projects that directly benefit local schools, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations. This year, over 800 volunteers will spend the day working on more than 100 projects that include cleaning, painting, building ramps, landscaping, along with dozens of other tasks across the Shenandoah Valley.
As projects are completed, volunteers (and their families) will meet up at West Oaks Farm Market to share a meal, lots of stories, and more than a few selfies! The public is welcome to join us in celebrating their community service. Plus, a portion of the food purchases will benefit United Way's annual campaign - so swing by for lunch. You'll get some great food AND support your community at the same time!
