Sunflower Farm Sketch at Homestead Farm, Winchester

We have been invited to come sketch at Homestead Farm, known for its sunflower fields, guaranteed not to run out of sunflowers until October. It is free (unlike many farms) unless you want to pick the sunflowers, in which case you pay by the stem. And just look at this cute building! Most locations charge just to get in. This place has ice cream, farm fresh fruit, vegetables, country style baked goods, and local raw meat to take home, and plenty of local snacks should you not feel like making lunch. Bring your painting water just in case there is only bottled water for purchase. There is not much indoor space, although it is adorable, so if it's really rainy we would probably reschedule for the following Friday. The weather is still warm, so a plein air umbrella is a good idea.
