This 6th Annual event is brought to you by the Winchester RED Committee!
Community members young & old are invited to build scarecrows to be on display at the park on the corner of Main Street and Parker Street, Halloween night starting at 5pm.

Will stay on display for a full week - starting Halloween night!
How does it work?
Pick-up your scarecrow frame at the Winchester Farmers Market on October 11th from 9 am to 1pm
Sign up at the RED Committee Table.
Build you scarecrow!
Drop your scarecrow off at the Gazebo Park Downtown Winchester, Saturday, 10/25, between 9am-11am.
(Scarecrows must be dropped off no later than 11am to be included in the display and contest)
Don't want to build a scarecrow?
Don't have to! All are welcome to stop by Smokey & the Scarecrows starting at 5pm on Halloween night to grab some trick or treats (while the candy lasts!),
Vote for your favorite scarecrow as "Best in 'crow," grab some refreshments, and enjoy the fall FUN with us!
Some tips & extra info:
Get creative! Need to clean up the yard? Use those leaves to stuff your scarecrow!
Need a scarecrow head? Try a plastic pumpkin, or a plastic bag stuffed, shaped, and tied into a sphere and draw on your own silly face!
Try to keep it light! We want these scarecrows to stay up for a full week after Halloween for all of Winchester to enjoy. To ensure that the scarecrows stay put securely, please do not make you scarecrow too top heavy.
Bring your trick or treat bags! We'll have some candy (while it lasts!) to hand out to the kiddos.
