Welcome or Welcome Not - Tim Laycock & Alastair Braidwood

Returning to the MED for a repeat performance of their popular Christmas show, folk singers and musicians Tim Laycock and Alastair Braidwood offer an evening full of festive cheer, including humorous stories read and acted, traditional songs and carols to be sung along to, poems recited, and folk tunes to get your foot tapping. Last year’s performance by these energetic and knowledgeable entertainers was highly enjoyed by a packed house, and we look forward to it being so again this time. Book soon to avoid disappointment!

Readings from Thomas Hardy and William Barnes weave with folk songs, forgotten carols and traditional tunes to bring a taste of the traditional Christmas once celebrated in this county, full of good food, pleasant company, plentiful drink, music, song, and good cheer.
