Julie Vatcher
Katie Bourne Davies
Margaret Hasted
Sue Smith

Featured Artists:

Lucy Hawkins
Lucy’s paintings are bold, expressive celebrations of the untamed beauty of the South West. Working en plein air, she captures not only the appearance of the land but also its atmosphere and energy. Using acrylics, oils, and mixed media, she balances abstraction and realism through vivid colour and dynamic mark making. Lucy has exhibited widely across the South West and is rapidly gaining recognition.

Ian Hargreaves
An internationally recognised painter, Ian Hargreaves brings decades of experience to the Guild. His evocative cityscapes and landscapes — exhibited in England, Germany, and the USA — have also appeared in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. Known for his atmospheric, light-infused style, Ian’s work continues to captivate audiences both locally and abroad.

Cliff Towler
Cliff’s wildlife paintings offer an intimate glimpse into the natural world, blending meticulous realism with emotional resonance. Working in mixed media, acrylic, and oil, he captures fleeting moments inspired by long walks through Dorset’s countryside. His work invites viewers to connect with the vitality of the animals that share our environment.

Susan Jeneson
Predominantly working in oils, Susan combines detailed brushwork with a strong sense of atmosphere. A professional artist based in Dorset, she specialises in wildlife, landscapes, and seascapes. Inspired by the beauty of the New Forest and the Jurassic Coast, her work reflects the spirit and character of the region.

This exhibition celebrates the breadth and depth of talent within the Dorset Artists Guild — from wildlife and landscape to abstraction and portraiture. All works are for sale, and many artists will be on hand throughout the event to discuss their creative process.

Come and discover the extraordinary artistic talent of Dorset.
