Join us for Inspire Breathwork, a new holistic wellness class presented by The Pride Center’s Wellness Program. Held on the second Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 8:00 PM, this guided experience offers a powerful journey through conscious connected breathing—a continuous, circular breathing technique that can lead to profound physical, emotional, and mental shifts. Registration is encouraged in advance, and while limited walk-ins may be available, spots fill quickly. Please bring a blanket, pillow, extra yoga mat, or anything else that helps you feel comfortable as most participants will be lying down. We can also accommodate those who need to remain seated. Don’t forget a bottle of water to stay hydrated throughout the session.
Breathwork can support deep healing and relaxation. Physically, it increases oxygen flow, supports detoxification, and improves both cardiovascular and respiratory function. It also relaxes the nervous system and promotes a sense of calm. Mentally and emotionally, breathwork may unlock stored emotions, reduce stress and anxiety, and offer clarity and emotional balance. During a session, participants may experience vivid visualizations, tingling sensations, deep presence, or emotional releases like laughter or tears. These reactions are natural and reflect the body’s process of releasing stored tension or energy.
Whether you're new to breathwork or returning to deepen your practice, this class is a safe, supportive space for personal growth and transformation. Every session is a unique journey, helping you tune into your body, access deeper awareness, and create space for healing from the inside out.
